Your karma is your karma and their karma is their karma

Your karma is your karma and their karma is their karma

There was a time in my life when I used to hold on to things. I held on with all my strength and couldn’t face the idea of them leaving.

These days it is different. I’m indifferent. I’ve always been uber sensitive and with the vegan diet, minus the wheat gluten grains and a couple of other things, as well as abstaining from alcohol, seems my mind has cleared. The illusions have melted or at least they keep on melting and I now see the world a little bit differently.

It is a sense of freedom mixed in with a sense of not giving a ****. I think there is a trendy book about that now, but I don’t remember it’s name. My own philosophies already overwhelm me. :)

We all go through difficulties in life and in order to grow we have to put our ego aside and go past our own limitations.

I used to fight for what is fair and I would get especially upset if the certain unfairness was directed at me. Well it seems I keep learning and recently I was able to just let it go. The illusion of control is just that. It’s not fairness that I am trying to achieve, but holding on to a sensitive ego. We can direct ourselves in the stream of consciousness that we call life and we can do the best we can, but at the end of the day if something unpleasant happens we must remember it is for the better. Granted that we did goods deeds and had good intentions, we ourselves created the reality we are in right now.

Sometimes negative emotions are unleashed upon us due to jealousy, anger, or desire. We have to remember that our karma is our karma and their karma is their karma.

Evening the score won’t help.

Whatever the world receives because of their action will come back to them just the same. And the negative action we have received from them is the result of our past behaviour. The action we take in response is our karma of tomorrows.
