AirBNB what is it good for?

I had the idea of doing this blog years ago when I had the experiences, but somehow was too shy to criticize.

Now I realize that it’s important to always express emotions in the kindest way possible. And even if you mess up and say something silly it’s ok, you can apologize and make up for it. :)

It’s funny how feelings change over the years. While the negative experiences are real, I’m now really fond of all the good memories, and the bad ones don’t seem so relevant anymore.

I’m really thankful for meeting a very cool Japanese couple. The bf of the couple taught me a lot about Japanese culture and myself, and his gf gave me traditional Japanese sweets; a group of Chinese students who thought I was a fashion designer and gave me chopsticks as a parting gift, that I now use everyday; and the nicest Italian guy called Andrea(and the time I expected to see a girl because I didn’t know this was actually a guy’s name in Italy) who fell through an old chair I had and was apologizing to me for breaking it even though it was my fault for providing an old chair.

Even though these little interactions were momentary and fleeting, with many people who I didn't even get the chance to meet I learned a lot about the world.

So please enjoy this video and remember, there are several sides to a story, but the truth is not subjective.

Emotions, people, and brands do change with love and kindness and sometimes a little criticism. So I hope this video actually helps AirBNB improve as I do think that these types of services are theoretically good and have a place in the world. And I hope I can use the services again some day without cringing, but with a smile on my face.
